LexEdge wins Times of India AI Quotient Award for AI in Legal, Tax & Compliance

Receiving the award on stage at the TOI AI Quotient Awards.

We are proud to share that LexEdge has been recognised by The Times of India with the AI Quotient Award for AI in Legal, Tax & Compliance.

The recognition matters to us because of what it is for. LexEdge was never built to be another chatbot with a legal skin. It was built to remove the reasons advocates were right to distrust AI: citations that do not exist, client data leaving the office, and drafts going out without a lawyer’s review.

What the award recognises

LexEdge is a single AI workspace for legal professionals, bringing legal research, drafting, document intelligence, citation verification, case management and secure collaboration into one platform. Behind that, a few principles do the real work:

  • Citations are verified against the court record, not generated by AI. Every reference is checked algorithmically against official judgment databases. Anything unverifiable is flagged before it reaches a judge.
  • Client data is protected before a model ever sees it. Sensitive details are masked, data is encrypted and stored in India, and it is never used for training. Chambers that need it can run LexEdge fully air-gapped on their own hardware.
  • The advocate always signs off. LexEdge prepares; the lawyer approves. Every AI decision is logged with its sources and reasoning.
  • It works the way Indian practice works. Voice input in twelve languages, camera capture for paper diaries, offline use in court, and WhatsApp for clients.

Awards are not the destination. They remind us why we started, and they raise the bar for what legal professionals should expect from responsible, secure and practical AI.
The LexEdge team

Thank you

This award belongs to everyone who has shaped LexEdge: our team, the advocates and firms who use it on real matters, our legal advisors, partners and early users who keep telling us what is still missing. And thank you to The Times of India for the recognition.
